Update: I completed my PhD in June 2004 and have moved to Boston! I can still be reached at wongca@async.caltech.edu.

Greetings! I'm a PhD candidate in the department of Computer Science here at Caltech. I work in the Asynchronous VLSI Group with Professor Alain Martin, and my research focus is the high-level synthesis of asynchronous VLSI circuits. I am also interested in the design of asynchronous FPGAs. Here is a list of my publications.

At Caltech, I've been a TA for CS139: Concurrency in Computation and CS181: VLSI Design Laboratory.

I've also had summer internships at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Plaintree Systems, Maplesoft, and the Waterloo Foundation for the Advancement of Computing.

I received my B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto. Born and raised in Waterloo, an EngSci (9T8) at Toronto -- what a recipe for a geek, eh?
